Another strong performance from Lara Colturi/ 7th place in the first downhill of the Giant Slalom

Despite difficult weather conditions and the postponement of the race due to track construction in Copper Mountain, USA, Lara Colturi once again showed her professionalism, patience and high class on the World Cup stage.

In today's Giant Slalom, she ranked 7th in the world, a very important result for the continuity of the season and for the history of Albanian skiing.

The race, which started 30 minutes late, was held in unstable conditions, but that didn't stop Lara from putting in a consistent and technical performance, intelligently managing every sector of the Copper Mountain track.

Among the world's 56 best competitors, 17 nations, Colturi ranked herself and Albania among the world's top 10 even at this stage.

This result confirms once again that Lara is one of the names that continues to climb the hierarchy of the giant slalom discipline and that Albania has one of the most talented athletes of the time competing with the world elite. /CNA
