Spectacular in Formula 1! The title in the last race, Verstappen wins in Qatar

Max Verstappen kept the race for a fifth consecutive Formula 1 title open, triumphing in the Qatar Grand Prix and significantly narrowing the gap at the top of the standings.

The Dutch Red Bull driver drove a consistent race, making optimal use of the car's pace and strategy, in a weekend where tire management and tactical decisions played a crucial role.

The race started with McLaren's Oscar Piastrini on pole position. The safety car period episode brought a significant turning point, as McLaren chose not to make a pit stop, focusing on maintaining positions on the track. Meanwhile, Verstappen stayed within his optimal pace and gradually began to build his advantage.

In the first part of the race, Piastri managed to maintain second position, while Williams' Carlos Sainz became one of the main protagonists, going from seventh place at the start of the race to the podium with a steady pace and precise overtaking.

The other McLaren driver, Lando Norris, although in the fight for the title, had a measured race and managed to finish in fourth place, after a late duel with Kimi Antonelli.

Verstappen's victory, his seventh of the season, moves him into second place in the overall championship standings, reducing the gap with Lando Norris to just 12 points.

Piastri also remains in the race, 16 points behind his teammate. With just one race remaining, the finale in Abu Dhabi, the fight for the Formula 1 title remains wide open, with three drivers involved within a narrow points gap.
