Incidents in the Georgia-Albania match, UEFA fines the AFL heavily

The UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Commission has fined the Albanian Football Federation for the incidents that occurred in the Nations League match, Georgia-Albania, which was won by the "reds" 0-1 at the "Mikheil Meskhi" stadium.

The Albanian Football Federation has been fined 26,875 euros for throwing objects on the field by Albanian fans and broadcasting unsportsmanlike messages.

Decisions of the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for the match Georgia-Albania:

1. To fine the AFL in the amount of €6,875 for throwing items.

2. To fine the AFL in the amount of €20,000 for broadcasting non-sporting messages.

3. The total value of the fine of €26,875 must be paid within 90 days from the communication of this decision.

The Football Federation invites fans to support the National Team, creating a warm, positive atmosphere and show citizenship and respect through a correct behavior towards the opposing team to avoid any kind of problem that could harm the team./ CNA
