UEFA holds a seminar with Albanian referees in Tirana about the VAR system

The Arbitration Sector in the AFL held a two-day seminar with all Superior Category referees and First Category referees for the VAR system.

The UEFA instructor, Pavel Gil, also participated in the seminar held at the "House of Football", who presented to the referees all the innovations of the VAR system.

The aim of the two-day workshop was to update the referees with the new instructions that UEFA uses in all matches and the same interpretation in all federations. These instructions relate to:

The intervention level of the VAR system for cases of fouls in the area (penalty cases)

Moments of withdrawals/holds in the area

Offside situations (interpretable cases)

Fouls that occur before a goal or penalty is scored.

The Refereeing Sector in the AFL often organizes seminars with the referees of the Albanian championship, in order to update them with the latest news from UEFA and FIFA. /CNA
