Hysaj leaves Lazio: I hope you return to where you deserve

Elseid Hysaj has officially ended his adventure with Lazio after five seasons in the Italian capital.

The Albanian national team defender leaves the white and blue team at the end of June, when his contract with the club expires.

During his time at Lazio, Hysaj played 131 matches in all competitions. The Albanian footballer reacted with a message on social media, where he thanked the club and the fans for his time in Rome.

"They have been very intense years, with many emotions and beautiful, but also difficult, moments. Roma will always be an important part of my life. I hope Lazio returns to where it deserves to be," Hysaj wrote.

Lazio also published a farewell message for the defender, although he was not activated in the last match by coach Maurizio Sarri. Hysaj is now a free agent and is considering offers for the future, with concrete interest from Serie A and the Arab championship.
