Epoka Silvinjo! U afrua me skepticizëm, por arriti sukses historik. Kombëtarja rikthehet te “tradita”

Epoka e Silvinjos në krye të Kombëtares Shqiptare është mbyllur pas një periudhe që solli rezultatet më të rëndësishme të viteve të fundit për kuqezinjtë.

Trajneri brazilian mori drejtimin e skuadrës mes skepticizmit, por arriti të sigurojë kualifikimin historik në Kampionatin Europian dhe më pas ta dërgojë ekipin edhe në “play-off”-in e Kupës së Botës.

Kontrata e tij ishte zgjatur deri në korrik për shkak të rëndësisë së ndeshjeve ndaj Polonisë dhe Ukrainës. Suksesi i stafit teknik, ku bënin pjesë edhe Pablo Zabaleta dhe Dorival, pati një kosto të lartë financiare, me rreth 1 milion euro në vit.

Për herë të parë, edhe qeveria kontribuoi për mbulimin e shpenzimeve të stafit teknik. Presidenti i FSHF-së, Armand Duka, kishte kërkuar fillimisht garanci nga vetë trajneri për vazhdimësinë e projektit.

Megjithatë, negociatat financiare mes palëve nuk sollën marrëveshje dhe bashkëpunimi u ndërpre. Pas largimit të Silvinjos, Kombëtarja i është rikthyer sërish traditës së trajnerëve italianë.
