OFFICIAL/ Barcelona "blinds" coach Flick, aiming for the Champions League

Hansi Flick has officially extended his contract with Barcelona until 2028, with the option to renew for another season.

The agreement was signed in the presence of president Joan Laporta and other directors of the Catalan club. This decision comes after the positive results of the team, which under the leadership of the German coach won the second consecutive La Liga title.

Flick had been in talks for a long time about a renewal, but preferred to wait until his sporting objectives were met before signing the contract. In his two seasons at Barcelona, ??the coach won five trophies, including two league titles, two Spanish Super Cups and a King's Cup.

Barcelona have played 116 matches under Flick, recording 88 wins, 10 draws and 18 losses. The team has scored 317 goals and conceded 132 during this period. The German coach has stated that the main objective for next season will be to win the Champions League.
