Rolando Marani has been appointed as the new coach of Albania, succeeding the departed Silvinjo. The Brazilian coach leaves the Rossoneri after more than three years on the bench and makes way for the Italian.

Recently, the details of the new coach's contract have been revealed. Marani has signed a contract until 2028. For the 62-year-old, it is a salary of 30 thousand euros per month, many times less than the salary that Silvinjo received.

However, a clause has been included in the contract, with bonuses if first place in the Nations League and qualification for the European Championship is achieved.

A dismissal clause has also been included if the target set by the Federation is not achieved. Maran's assistant will be Christian Maraner, who has accompanied the coach on every one of his adventures.

For Marani, this will be the first time he has managed a national team, as he has previously only been on the bench in Serie A and Serie B in Italy. His debut will be in two friendly matches in June, where Albania will face Luxembourg and then Israel.
