The Bavarians took control of the game in the second half, scoring four times, while Michael Oliseh scored twice and provided two assists. With the win, Bayern leads the Bundesliga with 31 points, eight more than Bayer Leverkusen, who won 1-3 at Wolfsburg, scoring all three goals in the first half.

Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart played out an open match that ended 3-3, with the home team leading 2-0 at half-time, while the visitors came back with a hat-trick from Undav. Karim Adeyemi scored the other goal for Dortmund.

In other matches, Augsburg defeated Hamburg 1-0, while Borussia Monchengladbach won 0-3 against Heidenheim. The week was characterized by high-scoring results and frequent changes of pace in several important matches.
