In the framework of the World Day for Biological Diversity, the artistic exhibition “Prespa in the Seed” was organized in the Municipality of Pustec, a unique project that combines nature and art in an unusual way. Tina Donevski, project manager and representative of the PPNEA organization, emphasized the importance of this cooperation between PPNEA and the Municipality of Pustec, a project that is funded by the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation.
“Prespa in Seeds” aims to bring young people closer to nature through art, stimulating their creativity. According to Donevski, this exhibition represents a special trend of seed art, a new method for these schools, which attracted high interest among the participating students.
" It is a project led by PPNEA, the organization where I work and in collaboration with the Pustec Municipality, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation. The project is called "Prespa in Seeds". It aims to combine the environment and art, to bring these young people closer to nature and to awaken their creativity. It is a special exhibition because it is a very special current of art, not previously applied in these schools. It is the current of art with seeds. The interest has been quite great, even though we had a limited number of participants, with 15 students. However, their motivation was extraordinary. They were very enthusiastic, motivated, they invested all their time and it is not that they were very tired. They could stay even outside of class, so it was an experience where the environment and art were combined, where they collaborated more with each other. It also helped in their active socialization ", said the director of project, Tina Donevski.
Artist from North Macedonia, Snezhana Lazarova Luna, was the special guest who guided the students through the creative process of seed art. She shared her 15 years of experience in the field and expressed her joy at the opportunity to teach this technique to a new generation. The result was an exhibition of 15 works created by the students themselves.
" First of all, I would like to thank the municipality for the hospitality they have shown me here. This is a new experience with the school students and the residents of this area. I have been developing this profession for these 15 years in Macedonia, and this experience is new for me because it takes place outside the borders. I have developed this art with seeds, with natural colors, without additions of paints. Education with the students showed a great interest in the work. This technique requires great patience. I feel happy that the students learned this technique very quickly. As a result of this work with the students, we are developing this exhibition, which has 15 works. It is a pleasure that we achieved this with the students ", said Snezhana Lazarova Luna.
The Mayor of Pustec, Pali Kolefski, highly praised this initiative, thanking the non-governmental organizations for their contribution to the cultural development of the area. He emphasized that the project was welcomed by the students of the Unified High School in Pustec and described the exhibition as one of the most special ever organized in the municipality. Mayor Kolefski said that such an initiative deserves to be expanded to other schools in the country.
" I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the non-governmental organizations that contribute, no matter how small, to the development of culture and traditions in the municipality of Pustec. This was a very good project, where all the students of the Unified High School in Pustec were involved. They learned the first elements of a very good tradition that is very special, art in seeds. For me, it is very interesting because it is recommended to be applied in schools and other places. During this period, the artist from Macedonia, Snezhana Lazarova Luna, who is unique in her works, taught the first elements to the students. In the first days, she brought an exhibition that for me was among the most special, as the first exhibition in the municipality of Pustec ," said Mayor Kolefski.
The exhibition “Prespa in Seed” was not just an artistic event, but a bridge built between the younger generation and nature through the power of art. It proved that creativity, when combined with education and dedication, can bring new inspirations to the community.
The project left an important mark not only on the cultural development of Pustec, but also on raising awareness about the importance of preserving biodiversity, showing that seeds, in addition to carrying life, can also hold art within them./ CNA
