Rei Pinderi, the 11-year-old talent who is stunning Korça

11-year-old Rei Pinderi from Korça picked up a pencil for the first time when he was just 18 months old. This was the moment when his teacher and family realized that the paintbrush would be the little boy's future.

So far, Rei has created 15 paintings of various techniques and themes, including landscapes, cities, objects, and animals.

Among his creations, a very important place is occupied by sketches with portraits of close people, famous characters and drawings of animals. The young artist has chosen to donate his creations to his friends and people who have supported and encouraged him throughout his artistic journey.

Cna brings a very interesting report about the little boy who welcomed us with great pleasure near his home, to tell viewers the story of his talent and his feelings.

Little Rei stood out as an unusual talent by the kindergarten teacher when she noticed that the little one did not let go of the pencil when sketching, holding the pencil in his hand like a true professional. The 11-year-old has realized that he is an artist and has talent, as in painting he expresses his feelings.

"I started painting when I was very young, in kindergarten and kindergarten, where the teachers discovered that I had a talent for painting because when I drew, I didn't put down the pencil. I continued drawing and since then I have practiced painting a lot and I am who I am today. I like painting because I let my mind and my feelings out there."

The Korçë talent finds inspiration, motifs and themes in everyday life or even as internal feelings. In addition to what he sees during the day, Rei selects many different themes on social networks and puts them on canvas.

"I used to like dinosaurs or my family, different houses more. Now I paint many different things, landscapes, cities, birds, animals, any kind of possible thing that comes to mind. Usually, in most cases, it comes to my mind to draw on my own, but there are times when I also see different paintings on YouTube or on social networks and I get inspiration there too to start a landscape, or to make a painting."

For an 11-year-old in this day and age, when technology takes up most of his daily life, it seems incredible that Rei spends his free time painting. This shows the immense love and passion he has for painting and drawing. A great help to the little one is his painting teacher, Vigena Nini, who has taught him other techniques in addition to those that Rei has mastered, while he says that the painting course has helped him the most.

"For me, I wouldn't say it's easy or difficult because everything has its time. It takes me maybe two to three hours. When I'm free, when I finish my homework, in my free time when I have nothing to do, inspiration comes to me and I start painting. I also go to the painting course at "Children's Town". Yes, in addition to the things and what we've learned so far, my teacher Vigena Nini has also taught me different painting techniques, but also, in addition to the help and encouragement she has given me, I have also learned different ways to paint and draw on social networks at home. Both are very effective ideas, but I would prefer the lessons that the teacher gives me in the painting course."

Among Rei's most beloved works is the portrait of his mother, which he dedicated to her for the holiday of March 8. In this creation, Rei has combined talent with the feeling of unconditional love for his mother, who has been his main support on his journey.

"I may have done 15 paintings, maybe, or less. But besides paintings, I have also done many drawings. I like both, but I would say that I find drawing easier than painting. I have the portrait drawing that I did for my mom for March 7-8, and that is my favorite because in that drawing, besides the fact that I tried hard to make it, I also gave my feelings from my heart for my parent. Mom reacted very well, she really liked the drawing."

Although young, Rei's path to success began early, as the little boy participated in various competitions, winning first prize. His portrait of our national hero "Skënderbeg" was selected as the best in the "My Albania" competition, where hundreds of children competed with their works.

"First, I participated in various competitions, both at school and in the "My Albania" competition, and in this competition I won first place, first prize with the painting of Skanderbeg, and in that competition I got a very good feeling and an indescribable emotion. In addition to winning first place, my friends and my parents liked the painting a lot. That's the reason. My friends were very proud, and besides that they told me to continue painting because you have a lot of talent."

Clear about his future, Rei hopes to serve as an inspiring role model for his peers by conveying the message that talent should not be neglected, even though it takes a lot of work and dedication to give your best.

"I will continue painting even when I grow up, but the branch that I like the most and want to pursue is architecture. I hope I can succeed. There are many friends in my class who really like drawing, and from this interview, maybe they can get some encouragement, to tell themselves "I should continue because maybe I can become like Rei in the future."

As if he were a professional painter, in moments of inspiration, Ray Pinder does not hesitate to sacrifice sleep and the comfort of bed to put on a drawing sheet or canvas what his eyes and mind perceive./ CNA
