The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has declared that the May 14 elections will be historic.

Meta, in his message on social networks, writes that no one will be able to stop his candidates and those of the primaries to register and compete in the May 14 race.

He further emphasizes that on May 14 monism and terrible corruption will be rooted out.

"The May 14 elections will be historic, because they will finally close the chapter of monist and arrogant power, which does not give account, but only abuses and wastes.

They will be historic because they will restore democracy and the role of citizens in decision-making, and especially they will restore hope to the young men and women of Albania.

Nothing can stop our candidates, the primary candidates from registering, competing and winning in this HISTORIC election, not just to root out monism at the local level and the fearsome corruption in these four years in local government, but at the same time to root out this entire pyramid system, gangster that only excludes citizens and only wastes their taxes ", writes Meta./ CNA.al
