May 11th elections/ Shehaj presents candidates in Shkodra

The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, held a meeting today in the city of Shkodra, where he also presented the candidates for deputies for the May 11 elections. Shehaj focused specifically on the candidates for Shkodra, who according to him want change and political rotation in Albania.

In his speech, Shehaj focused on the introduction of candidate Elvis Deda, whom he said is one of the candidates with a different opinion.

"Elvis is the best candidate we could have."

Elvis, like many of the candidates and co-founders of the Opportunity Party, resembles us because he is a young man, he was within the Democratic Party, but he had different opinions.

Elvis, like all of us, wanted change, he didn't just want rotation, he didn't just want the rulers to be changed, but he wanted Albania to finally, after 35 years, be governed by politicians who want to serve the citizens and not seize power to deny and steal opportunities from the citizens. This is our goal," said Shehaj.

Shehaj emphasized that the goal of the Opportunity Party is to give Albania a government that truly serves the citizens. Shehaj said that it is the day in Albania that it becomes possible for a person to succeed with honest work.

“Our goal is to finally give Albania a government that truly serves its citizens.

A good portion of us come from work, Elvis never had a job, and what people want is to have the opportunity to make ends meet with honest work.

How many times have we heard the expression: You can't make it in Albania with honest work?

Those who have obeyed and surrendered have fled abroad, gone to the West, and have actually made it through honest work.

"The day has come for us to work to make it possible for us to succeed with honest work in Albania as well," said Shehaj./CNA
