Salmonella meat scandal/Këlliçi calls on the minister to respond to

The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, has once again brought to attention the scandal published today regarding the sale of a quantity of meat with salmonella on the market.

In a post on social media, Këlliçi made an urgent appeal regarding this scandal related to the health of citizens.

Këlliçi demands that citizens be given answers to such an urgent problem, when it comes to food security.

This call, according to Këlliç, goes to Minister Anila Denaj, for what Këlliç considers a crime against health.

"An urgent denunciation directly related to the health of Albanian citizens!
From an investigation of the Piranjat show on SYRI TV, 27 tons of chicken meat imported from Brazil turned out to be infected with the Salmonella bacteria, according to the analyzes conducted at ISUV.
This amount of imported meat is suspected to have been put on the market without waiting for the results of the analyzes.
This is an urgent issue!!!
There are no longer any political discussions here, this is about the food safety of citizens.
Minister Anila Denaj, give citizens answers about the food they consume and hold them accountable for this crime against health!", - writes Këlliçi./CNA
