New elections in Himare?/ Dule: Rama uninformed, Beleri did not leave even
The President of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule

As the deadlines for the oath of the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Belerin, are coming to an end, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the law foresees the holding of new elections, but emphasized that he has asked the Greek government to give its opinion on this matter.

This statement was commented this evening by the chairman of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule.

He said that Rama is not well informed, as he claims that the dismissal of the mayor after the 90-day deadline only happens if the elected mayor does not take the oath voluntarily.

According to him, in the case of Fredi Beleri, the oath is being obstructed by the prime minister himself.

" Mr. Rama, I'm very sorry, I'll say it again, he's in charge of a country, a government, and he doesn't even have the minimum responsibility to be informed, but he improvises.

The law says that if the oath is not taken, but it is presumed voluntarily, the dismissal can happen even faster. Beleri in this case, it's not that he doesn't want to take the oath, he was denied the basic  right  to vote ", he said.

The head of PBDNJ argued why he thinks Beler's right is being carried out by Rama and not by justice.

" Everyone can be suspected of everything and Mr. Beleri is denied the right. Why do we insist that he is a hostage of Edi Rama and not of justice. Because right now we need to know who is organizing the mayor's oath and who is responsible. This right belongs to the secretary of the municipality, and if the deadlines are exceeded, it passes to the prefect ", Dule emphasized./ CNA
