The discussions from the meeting of the National Council of the DP, which took place behind closed doors, are clarified.

Asked by journalists if the DP lists will be open or closed, the General Secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, says that the list of district leaders is the competence of the President and that he can set up auxiliary teams.

Also, Noka states that PD has entered into a battle because of Rama, who, according to him, is investing to divide them.

"We are entering a battle. We have been in a whirlwind for 3 years, because Edi Rama has torn us apart. Today it invests that we remain divided. We are in a democracy and that means freedom of speech and freedom of thought. We are entering a battle that has no return. This is not only ours, but those democrats who follow us", said Noka.

The General Secretary of DP, Flamur Noka also called that the democrats should unite in other parts, so any attacks on each other should be stopped.

"We have united and we must unite with the other parts as well. We are entering a battle with no return and no stopping. Therefore, we must stop any attack on each other", said Noka.

Noka, during his speech, said that Gjekmarkaj, as the vice president of the DP, has everything to condemn the political attack on Berisha, who is under house arrest.

"Gjekmarkaj is the man who has done more to condemn Berisha's political imprisonment, more than anyone else, by communicating with foreign offices.

"Gjekmarkaj, as DP vice-president, articulates in every international institution the request for the release of our leader", he said.

On the other hand, MP Edi Paloka has stated that if Rama steals the elections again, he will not come out and say that he stole them, as the responsibility remains with them to begin with.

"If Rama steals the elections from us again, I won't go out and say that he stole them from us. The responsibility lies with us first. We do not participate in elections to get a mandate. If they steal from us, we are the ones who stole from the Democrats.

Let's see this as a life and death battle. Don't see this division as a challenge to each other. Let's be together to defeat Rama. Let the campaign be a war, not in a figurative sense," said Paloka./ CNA
