The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa, has reacted to the resignation of Alfred Peza as the head of the Albanian Radio Television. 

In a post on social networks, Zhupa says that the liberation of RTSH is a small victory in a battle for legality.

According to her, the Governing Council should rise to the task in the new election. 

"Since he pulled it off the first time, we are taking the second one with a photo! The illegal director of RTSH surrenders! I don't want to repeat myself, but the release of RTSH is a small victory in a battle for legality. RTSH is a public asset that is kept with the taxes of the Albanians and it should be run on the basis of the law and in the service of the public interest. The misfortune was that the law but also the moral norms had disappeared from Peza. 

It is learned that Peza has irrevocably resigned from this position. He stayed in this job position for more than a year, after being elected as the head of RTSH in June 2023. 

The way Peza ran this institution was criticized a lot. CNA has reported dozens of news where the mass dismissals of employees and the abuse of funds or projects in this institution have been denounced./CNA
