He was left out of the list of district leaders/ The PD deputy revolted

Deputy Edmond Spaho will no longer be the leader of the DP in Korça, as his place will be Ivi Kaso, who is also the legal representative of the DP.

Spaho reacted by showing his election results, saying that he won in the elections of 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013.

"Below you have an interview of Miss Denisa Pasholli on A2CNN with the journalist Indrit Maraku, where, among other things, they state that Edmond Spaho was removed from the leadership of the Korce District due to the lack of results.

Without wanting to create controversy, but just to refer to the truth and to clarify Miss Pasholli and journalist Maraku, below I am offering you my results in all the general and local elections where I participated or led in the Korce District . You can verify them on the website of the CEC:

- In 2003, I led the campaign for Korce Municipality and we won.

- In 2005, I won as a deputy in the majority in the electoral area that was assigned to me.

- In 2007, in the local elections of my constituency, we won 3 of the 4 municipalities that I covered

- In 2009, in the general elections, we won 6 of the 6 municipalities that I covered

- in 2011, in the local elections, we won 5 of the 6 municipalities that I covered

- In 2013, I lost in the general elections. Of the 32,000 fewer votes that PD received in the Korce district compared to SP, only 1,800 votes were from my constituency. PD won only one administrative unit in the whole district of Korce, and it was in my electoral area, Pusteci, with 470 plus votes.

- In 2021, I will return to Korce and PD set the objective of getting 5 mandates as a member of parliament. I received 5 mandates and about 51 thousand votes. Korca was one of the 3 counties in Albania that achieved the objective set by the DP. If LSI was part of the coalition, the result would be 6-5 for the opposition.

- In 2023, the local elections are not worth discussing. All of us who drove through Albania, with some exceptions, lost for known reasons.

I have accepted the decision of the Presidency of the DP, but I hope that I have enlightened Mrs. Pasholli and the journalist Maraku to be more correct when they speak in public and to provide accurate information in advance, since words are not like dogs that let loose and how many times will he be called back", writes Spaho./CNA
