In a television interview, the head of the Parliamentary Group of the DP, Gazment Bardhi, was asked if he supports Sali Berisha as a candidate for prime minister.

He emphasized that he supports any candidacy that the membership of the Democratic Party votes for.

According to him, elections are not won by the individual, but by the party. 

"I support every candidate for prime minister of the Democratic Party, voted by the membership. Elections are not won by the individual, but by the party. PD will never boycott the elections again. I support every DP candidate for prime minister, regardless of whether I will be the first part of the battle or not. I have supported and will support the DP, regardless of the names. This is the party that gave me the title of Secretary of the Democratic Party. Do I support Sali Berisha? I support any candidate for prime minister of the Democratic Party that the membership votes for. Elections are not won by the individual, but by the party," he said./ CNA
