Today, the meeting of the investigation commission for health is taking place, where it was announced that this commission has been extended by 3 months due to the lack of information starting from the contracts.

It is reported that directors and former directors or doctors of the hospital will be called as witnesses in the Investigative Commission.

Deputy Ina Zhupa said that the doctors will not be investigated in this commission, but the contracts, the procedures and the theft that was committed.

She said that an affair is being investigated which amounts to 420 million euros that could have been put at the service of Albanian citizens.

"The commission has an extension of the mandate due to the lack of information starting from the contracts. I agree with Mr. Koçi regarding the fact that the commission is not judging doctors.

We in this commission are examining contracts, procedures, theft. We are investigating an affair that amounts to 420 million euros which could have been put at the service of Albanian citizens. We focus on what we are investigating, on the concessions, on those who received the concessions", said Zhupa./ CNA
