How many opposition parties will run in the parliamentary elections?

In the upcoming elections, it is expected that for the first time, they will have several opposition parties running on their own.

In the previous elections, there were two opposition coalitions , as was the case in 2009, where LSI emerged independently with a group of parties, at that time LZHK and SP.

This continued in 2013 and in 2017 , the opposition was again divided in the 2021 elections, but the 2025 parliamentary elections will give us the largest number of coalitions and opposition parties running against the Socialist Party.

The first opposition coalition is the one led by the Democratic Party, which is expected to include several other right-wing parties allied and loyal to Sali Berisha.

Another party is Agron Shehaj's "Opportunity", a new party from a former DP deputy, Lulzim Basha's "discovery".

It is also expected that a party will emerge from a group of angry people , who, apart from Berisha, no longer even want Luli in their party. This party seems to be led by Enkelejd Alibeaj and some former supporters of Berisha or Basha , who are of their own mind, against the two former leaders who served them.

Another opposition party is that of the former leader of the DP for 8 years, Lulzim Basha . After failing with the DP logo to bring it to power, after bringing it into conflict, dividing and dismembering it, Luli is expected to come out with his party, which is expected to be called the Euro-Atlantic Democratic Party.

There are several other parties of the opposition spectrum, which have not yet shown clearly which position they will hold , with whom they will rank, with Berisha, with Basha, with Alibeaj, they will become several separate parties, a coalition with Agron Dukën, Dash Shehi is expected to hold a position, Shpëtim Idrizi's PDIU seems closer to the government. So far, it seems that this party will also compete on its own, which actually secured the mandates as a party in coalition with Lulzim Basha's PD.

PL and PBDNJ seem closer to Sali Berisha, where the same attitudes are also seen by Ekrem Spahija's LZHK.

A huge ruckus in the opposition camp, where everyone is gathered in front of the goal and wants to shoot the ball into the empty goal, fighting over who owns the deflated ball of the opposition rubber.

A bunch of parties, a mountain of presidents, some real, some alleged oppositionists who simply and only want to stay in politics with their noses and their anger and in the end, fighting to shoot the ball, realize that the empty gate is the gate theirs. They scored the next own goal and with all this nonsense they are simply serving Edi Rama./ CNA
