Shehi reveals the behind-the-scenes/ A new political group is created next week

Dashamir Shehi of LZHK has revealed the political behind-the-scenes, regarding party coalitions for the 2025 parliamentary elections.

Shehi said in a televised appearance that some opposition parties will create a new political group to rally the gray electorate.

"I say that the day has come to find a formula and create another group within the Albanian opposition, another alternative, to find a new political path, to gather thousands of citizens who stay at home and cannot be identified more with the Reestablishment group. This is the task and I think it is the only formula if we wanted to go to power", he said.

Asked about the MPs who will join this group, Shehi declined to reveal names, but revealed that the coalition will become official next week.

"In order not to encourage rumours, next week this will become official. It could be 6-7, it could be 10, we'll see. I don't like this name, not that name. This is a group of a political nature, it has no connection with traditional groups", he stressed./ CNA
