DP leader Sali Berisha, comparing the 2021 elections with those of 2025, stated that in the elections four years ago, votes died before they entered the ballot box.

In 2021, Berisha said Lulzim Basha abandoned the Albanian vote and accepted the electoral farce of those elections.

"I'm taking Lulzim Basha. The day after the elections (2021) I wrote him a letter; The vote died before it entered the box."
