Deputy Albana Vokshi has reacted to the decision of GJKKO to strengthen the security measures against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

In a television interview, Vokshi said that today the country has officially entered a dictatorship, as he claims that GJKKO has no facts and no evidence.

She claims that Prime Minister Edi Rama has started a political persecution of Berisha for years and ended it today with house arrest.

"We knew that Edi Rama would go all the way to what he has been planning for years. It is a political persecution that has been done to the leader of the opposition for many years using all the powers that he already possesses. It clearly seems that he owns everything, even what they call the New Justice, which with the recent actions have unfortunately shown the Albanians that not only there is no new justice but on the contrary, with all the decisions that have been made either by SPAK, or by the special courts which were set up with a very high expectation from the Albanian public to give justice. With the recent decisions against the leader of the opposition, where there is no fact, no evidence, no accusation and the decision is taken to arrest him.

What name should I put on a country that arrests the leader of the opposition? That all powers are owned by one person, including justice? What name should I give to a country where the Constitutional Court does not perform its constitutional function to interpret the conflict or take over the powers of the parliament.
