The President of the DP, Sali Berisha, commented on the visit of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, to Tirana.

Berisha said that PD supports the Western vocation, but stressed that the visit of Soma Blinken was a monist visit.

He made this designation, after emphasizing that it happened for the first time that the American secretary of state met only representatives of one party.

"Dear friends, today the chief diplomat of the USA, the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, came to Albania.

I use this opportunity to guarantee the US government, the president of the country, that the DP, the political force that overthrew communism, the political force that became the main promoter of friendly relations between Albania and the US and Western countries, of Albania's membership in NATO, has been and remains always determined to continue on this path of friendship cooperation in the framework of NATO and in the bilateral framework.
