Blinken mentions Dua Lipa/ The message he gave from the Pyramid

The American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, during his speech at an activity with young people at the Pyramid of Tirana, he listed some of the famous names of Albanians who have made excellent careers in the world, such as Dua Lipa or Mira Murati, and yes as well as Albanian businesses that have succeeded in America.

"Good afternoon everyone and thank you for a wonderful welcome to the land of eagles. I feel the warmth here and in every other place in Tirana. I can't explain how grateful I am. For me to be with you today to celebrate the achievements of these programs is important to strengthen the relationship between the countries. I thank Wisner and especially Prime Minister Rama, I am happy to be with you today in a city where you, as a former mayor, have energized it. I am also grateful for the partnership we have. These last three years that we have worked together, every difficulty we have had, the prime minister has been by our side. People have said that this building shows Albania's path since the end of the cold war", he said. 

Less Blinken underlined that there are also journalists in Albania who are exposing corruption and fighting against extremism. 

"Here today we have journalists who are exposing corruption, who are fighting against extremism and are making Albania even more open. I was at the embassy and I met with several Afghan families and they are waiting to go to the USA. Their journey will not be possible without Albania's help. The relationship between our peoples is the essence," said Blinken./CNA
