Rama reminds Blinken of Enver Hoxha/ The dictator taught us to hate you, but we love you

Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, during his speech at an activity with young people at the Pyramid of Tirana.

Rama mentioned to Blinken the dictator Enver Hoxha and the hatred he had for the USA, while emphasizing that today this hatred has turned into respect and friendship.

“I have news for you today. Our dictator for whom this temple was built is rolling in his grave today. He raised us with hatred, he taught us to hate you, but today we welcome you. Many of the owners of this pyramid would like to be here, but the protocol did not allow them. They know that you have no bad intentions and the keys to our kingdom are in safe hands with you," the head of government emphasized./ CNA
