Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about Kosovo at the joint conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Rama said that Kosovo-Serbia tensions were a topic of discussion8 with Blinken, while declaring that he has seen steps backwards in reaching a dialogue.

The head of the government declared that without the USA there would not be an independent state of Kosovo.

He emphasized that Kosovo is not a secondary interest for the USA and Albania, so he asked to accept the demands proposed on the table by the international partners.

"It is good that the citizens of Kosovo do not forget that without the USA there would not be an independent state of Kosovo because the interest of the USA in the smooth running of affairs in Albania and Kosovo is not a secondary interest, it is not even a shared interest in every respect to build a future of peace and prosperity for other generations. Undoubtedly, we feel sorry every time we look back and are aware of the difficulty of this dialogue, of the pain of the wounds of a not too distant tragedy for those who live in Kosovo, of the terrorist attack in Banjska, Serbia is not that properly helps the process, but Albanians should be aware that it is in our interest to progress in the realization of all those demands that are on the dialogue table. The demands are not coercive, they are not demands that Kosovo give up a millimeter of its sovereignty, its dignity", said Rama.
