The Democratic Party will hold its next protest tomorrow at 11:00 in front of Tirana City Hall, demanding the resignation of Mayor Erjon Veliaj.
The latter has ended up under the "cyclone" of accusations as he is charged with four criminal offenses, including active and passive corruption, concealment of assets, and money laundering.
SPAK has already "targeted" the mayor of Tirana, as earlier searches were carried out in his apartment and that of his wife, as well as that of his brother Arbër Veliaj, seizing phones, bills and money.
In this form, the Democratic Party is even more motivated to continue its resistance in front of Tirana City Hall, as tomorrow's protest will be protest number 42, demanding Veliaj's withdrawal at all costs.
Opposition protests have been escalating to end corruption and theft of Tirana's taxpayers. /CNA
