The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, gave an ultimatum to Lulzim Basha to remove the DP symbols from private premises, otherwise he would charge the municipal police and the state police with their removal.
"I agree with the request made by the DP electoral subject to remove these symbols from private premises and the municipal and state police will be charged with implementing this decision. We will also set a deadline regarding the implementation of this decision," said Celibashi.
After the ultimatum from Celibashi, Luli Basha removed the DP symbols and showed his party's new logo to a handful of people.
Basha, who had previously taken these symbols hostage, was today released by order of Celibashi./ CNA
