DP leader Sali Berisha has issued a strong warning from Shkodra to Mayor Benet Beci.
In a statement to the media, Berisha said that Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding Beci hostage because he has a terrible file on him.
The opposition leader warned that citizens will soon understand what Benet Beci represents.
"He honors us, Mr. Spahia honors us. Soon the citizens of Shkodra will find out who is governing them in the municipality, what the mayor of Dobraç represents, they will learn very quickly what Beci of Dobraç represents, while Bardh Spahia goes to SPAK and enforces the law, he has defended the Code of an official who cannot accept a delinquent in the administration. So that process does us all honor and does honor to Shkodra and its citizens.
"Now the truth is that there is a terribly serious file on Benet Beci with which Edi Rama is holding him hostage, but we are against the hostage policy," said Berisha./ CNA
