Spahia from SPAK: The lawsuit against me was prepared by the offices of the SP

The former mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, appeared before SPAK today.

In a statement to the media, he stated that his case being reviewed by the Court is a formality, and that he has requested a fair trial, rejecting the possibility of a summary trial, as he considers this a lawsuit prepared by the offices of the Socialist Party.

He called for justice and expressed his suspicions that this process is related to a person convicted of theft and corruption, who, according to him, is being used to file charges against him.

"My thoughts go out to those four young men who lost their lives in the city of Shkodra, seeking the protection of free voting, 34 years ago, to the families of April 2, to the families of the 100 injured, and to the entire people of Shkodra, commemorating one of the most important dates for the people of Shkodra.

Today I was unable to be present to commemorate him in Shkodra, even though I was a former participant in that protest, but I had to be at SPAK.

Unfortunately, once again Albanians demand the protection of their vote and the separation of crime from the state, which has seized every office. Same goes for those criminals of April 2, who today lead the government.
