CEC Head Ilirjan Celibashi has provided details regarding the electoral process for voters from abroad.

Celibashi said that today the contract with the operator that will send the ballots to voters abroad will be formalized.

Celibashi stated that the dispatch of absentee ballots for voters will begin on April 8-9-10 and there will be a deadline until April 17 to cast their vote.

He also announced that the place where the votes of voters from abroad will be counted has been determined and will be at the Fetih Borova Sports Palace in Tirana's Olympic Park.

"Voters will not pay for this service. The cost is paid by the Albanian state. The total value of the contract with this operator is 9.2 million euros."

With an average price of 37.52 euros. Today we formalize a contract between the CEC and the operator. The process of printing votes for abroad has begun.
