Tirana Mosaic Project/Rama: To be transformed into a space for the community

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja visited the premises of the Tirana Mosaic today to see up close the final form of this project.

The Prime Minister was informed about the importance of completing this modern structure, which required almost two years of work to complete.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the inspection of the project, emphasized the possibility of transforming this space into an attractive area for the local community.

"This corner can be made more beautiful for the community. We can add more space to sit and create an even more pleasant environment for citizens and visitors," said Rama.

An important aspect of this project is the development of a new visitor itinerary. This itinerary aims to provide the opportunity to enjoy the Mosaic in a more dynamic and appropriate way for all age groups, especially children. Also, to offer a more advanced and interactive experience, the Mosaic will include digital exhibitions and interactive installations, which will be dedicated to young visitors. These installations will allow children to watch documentaries translated into Albanian and English, creating a unique and engaging experience for visitors.

Minister Gonxha, for his part, emphasized that the installation of multimedia and digital equipment will be an important step to modernize Mozaik and transform it into an even more visited tourist destination.

"In the summer, multimedia equipment will be installed, enabling not only the mosaics located here, but also those from all over Albania, to be viewed virtually," Gonxhe said.

With the completion of this project, the Tirana Mosaic will offer a rich educational and cultural experience for young people, as well as being an important tourist destination for the city and foreign visitors. /CNA
