"Rama is the most predatory tax for Albanians"/ Meta: Let's

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, shared his message today ahead of the May 11 elections. Meta accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being the most predatory tax collector and finer for Albanians. Meta said that on May 11, we must remove Rama, in order to "remove" taxes.

Through an audio message from his cell, Meta focused at length on the economic program and said that the opposition program will offer Albanians tax cuts and the building of an Albania as a productive and exporting power in the region.

Meta mentioned a series of taxes that he intends to change through his election program.

Meta added that the coalition's "Made in Albania" economic program will significantly reduce the cost of living and free up the household and national economy.

"Edi Rama is the most predatory tax collector and fine collector for Albanians. In 12 years he has had only one objective, robbery, corruption, extortion and the unstoppable increase in taxes and fees and the destruction of services for citizens."

By voting on May 11 for Greater Albania's "Made in Albania" economic program, Albanians will vote for tax cuts and building an Albania that is a manufacturing and exporting power in the region.

By voting on May 11 for Greater Albania, Albanians will thus vote for an increase in their families' incomes, as well as for a massive increase in well-paid employment.

This program will be implemented in an undisputed manner by:

Reduced the number of different tax rates. A flat tax of 10% is imposed on capital, on income from work, with the exception of the first 50 thousand lek, which will not be taxed.

Flat tax of 10% on non-salary income. Zero taxation for freelancers and small businesses.

The excise tax on beer will be in two parts:

600 lek per hectoliter for producers over 200 thousand hectoliters per year and 300 lek per hectoliter for producers under 200 thousand hectoliters per year.

The price of fiscal stamps will be reduced from 17 euros per 1,000 stamps to 3 euros per 1,000 stamps. The price of fiscal stamps for the summer will be reduced from 25 euros per 1,000 stamps to 3 euros per 1,000 stamps.

For wine, the excise tax related to the alcohol content will be unified. The excise tax will be linked to large and small producers.

Electricity for businesses, which is currently 18-24 lek, will be sold for 6 lek. The property sales tax is reduced from 15% to 2%.

The fuel tax is abolished and all fuel sales points cannot sell fuel with a price difference of plus/minus 10% with pumps in neighboring countries.

Every Albanian who comes to invest in Albania will be tax-free for 5 years wherever they invest, while for investments in mountainous areas, 8 years tax-free.

For young people under 30, zero social and health insurance for the first 12 months of employment.

Exemption from income tax until the age of 25.

For ladies and women, zero profit tax for the first year of business. Subsidies for health and social insurance for the first 4 months, on the condition that half of the employees are women and young people.
