Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a reaction on the "X" platform for the closure of "TIKTOK", stated that the decision was consulted with 65 thousand parents and teachers.
Rama has announced that representatives of the TikTok company will soon come to Albania to present a series of measures to increase safety for children or innovations so that the platform can be used for studies and to assist in lessons.
"The decision to temporarily close TikTok is, firstly, a decision taken in broad consultation with 65,000 parents and teachers, and secondly, it is a decision taken after the necessary technical capacities were established, while we are in a very positive dialogue with the company, which will soon come to Albania to present us with a series of measures to increase safety for children, including in the Albanian language, as well as some innovations in the service of lessons and studies," Rama said in his reaction/ CNA
