The government closed TikTok for 12 months/ Zhupa: Unconstitutional,

The Chairperson of the Media Commission, Ina Zhupa, has reacted after the Government's Decision approving the closure of TikTok for 12 months, a decision that will be applied in about 1 week by the Cybersecurity Agency.

Zhupa stated that this was an order for political censorship because Rama, or the outgoing prime minister as she calls him, is panicking about the freedom of citizens.

" The closure of TIK TOK is an unacceptable, unconstitutional act, political censorship."

Social networks are a medium of freedom and speech, which cannot be removed by a political order from a prime minister in a panicked flight from the freedom of citizens.

"Youth is the main user of this medium, Tik Tok is the most uncontrollable social network by government propaganda. Edi Rama is on his worst day, a chief censor to hide dissatisfaction and hatred towards his government ," writes Zhupa.

Ina Zhupa called for participation in the March 15 protest, which, as previously stated by Democratic Leader Berisha, will be for the liberation of Tik Tok and against censorship.

"Everyone is protesting for freedom of speech, for freedom of expression, the main condition of democracy.

MARCH 15th at Skanderbeg Square!

"Youth does not accept censorship! It accepts being silenced!", said Zhupa in her appeal to young people/ CNA
