Albanian prisoners in Britain/ Rama, for "Times Radio": 'Mosaic' of lies to promote Brexit

Prime Minister Edi Rama has described the statements of British politicians regarding the numbers of Albanian prisoners in the United Kingdom as a 'mosaic' of lies.

In an interview on British radio "Times Radio", Rama said that the entire situation was used to promote Brexit.

“There is a lot of nonsense in all of this, because there are not a large number of Albanian prisoners in the UK that are somehow distinguishable from the total number of prisoners in the UK and from other nationalities of prisoners.

So it is a small piece of the larger mosaic of lies and self-deceptive arguments that were used to convince the British people to leave the European Union.

"Where the hell are you going to find the people to build your houses, to serve you coffee, to be your taxi drivers, to be your truck drivers and so on?" Rama said./ CNA
