"Albania does not stop"/ Rama: We will open 4 more chapters of EU

Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared the good news that on September 16, the Danish Presidency of the EU invites Albania to open 4 more chapters of accession negotiations, in the presence of the Foreign Ministers of all member states.

A total of 28 chapters were opened on May 11, which Rama calls an absolute record for the speed of a negotiation process.

"NEXT GOOD NEWS - Albania does not stop"

On Tuesday, September 16, the Danish Presidency of the EU invites us, in the presence of the Foreign Ministers of all member states, to open 4 more chapters of the accession negotiations, which are added to the 24 chapters that we have opened in just 11 months - an absolute record for the speed of a negotiation process.

"The Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, on areas of vital importance, such as Transport, Energy, Trans-European Networks and Environment, are now on the table. Another milestone was set on the path towards Albania's 2030 EU membership," Rama writes./ CNA
