"It needs a radical change"/ Arben Malaj: DP, aggressive since the

Former Minister of Finance, Arben Malaj, commented today regarding the situation of the Democratic Party, at the start of the parliamentary sessions.

In a television appearance, Malaj said that the DP has chosen aggression since the first session.

Malaj said that the DP needs a radical change, so that it can expand public support, but also become more competitive.

"My first concern with the DP is its aggressiveness. It seems that it has chosen a bad copy since the first session. In this regard, they need a radical change. If they do not manage to expand public support, which is not easy, but not impossible, if they do not expand in their entirety, of representatives, policies, supports, alliances inside and outside the country, if a group of loyalists does not arise, I do not believe that there will be a positive development in Albanian politics. So the biggest change is expected from the opposition to become more competitive, more effective and more useful. But, a fundamental change in an active political environment belongs to the majority. So it should maintain a soft approach to any institutional irritation", - said Malaj. /CNA
