Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi described the composition of the new parliament as worrying, as according to him, some of the new figures have degraded parliamentary life.

In an interview on 'Syri Tv', Këlliçi said that in the new assembly, the focus should be on issues of direct interest to Albanian citizens, such as depopulation and pensions.

"I sincerely regret that we went to a room where there should actually be a debate, a discussion about reforms, about stopping depopulation, which is an issue that affects Albania in 2025, but also Albania in 2040 and beyond."
