Meeting with young people in Pogradec/Peleshi: They will be the first Albanian

The political leader of the Korça region, Niko Peleshi, held a meeting with young people in Pogradec today, where he emphasized the key role of young people in the historic process of Albania's membership in the European Union.

In an energetic atmosphere, Peleshi said that this is not a campaign like any other, but a decisive moment for the country's European journey. He emphasized that for the first time, the new Albanian generation will become part of the EU not only with spirit and aspiration, but also with a passport.

"The future is one step away. It is equivalent to 5 minutes of commitment to go to the ballot box and choose number 5, the Socialist Party," Peleshi said.

He brought to attention the example of Croatia, which, from the 150 million euros it benefited from before EU membership, today receives 1.5 billion euros.

"This is why we believe that Albania will gain a lot from this process, not only in foreign policy, but with concrete results for every citizen, especially for young people," said Peleshi.

Peleshi also shared with the youth information about the new youth law, which allows small youth groups to apply for community funds without the need for bureaucratic structures. He encouraged the youth to engage in community projects and become an active part of change.

"We need your energy, your ideas and your activism. The Albania we want is built with you and for you," Peleshi said./CNA
