This Monday, the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, reported to the KLP on the institution's work for 2024. In his speech, Dumani did not spare criticism.

Regarding the limitations in preparing the annual report of SPAK, Dumani said that it is a contra document, which does not allow for complaints. Dumani said that SPAK has made reports to the Assembly, but there is also room for improvements in addressing.

"The report is a counter-document and does not allow you to complain. You in the KLP can also address it with your voice where it is needed. We ourselves have reported to the Assembly. There is room for improvements," said Dumani.

Regarding the issuance of public statements or their absence in certain cases, Dumani said that when deemed necessary, statements were made only in defense of the work of SPAK.

Dumani said that SPAK will continue to make public the various concerns or problems encountered in SPAK's work.

"When deemed necessary, statements were made in defense of our work. You in the KLP are our government of prosecutors."

What I am saying is that we remain committed to our legal and constitutional duties regardless of status.  

Everyone in the prosecution has the responsibility to exercise this function, based on the law and evidence.

"We will make public those concerns or issues that we deem necessary. It does not mean that we will remain silent," said Dumani. /CNA
