The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, in his annual report to the KLP today, stated that there have been cases when prosecutors and judges have been the object of threats from organized crime.

In his speech to the members of the KLP, Dumani said that besides them, there have also been cases where their family members have been exposed, especially in issues that have been sensitive to the public.

Dumani said that there has been cooperation and engagement with police bodies to increase protection and security in these cases encountered during SPAK's work.  

"In carrying out our work and making our decisions, the only institution that has helped us is the KLP. There has been very good cooperation and commitment from the State Police."

Prosecutors or judges have been subject to threats from organized crime.

Even the KLP and its members have been maximally committed to these cases.

Especially with the changes of 2023, employees have been provided with protection.

Appropriate measures have been taken against employees, but also family members. Family members have also been exposed in some cases.  

There are cases that have sensitivity.

"More investigators have been involved in the investigation with the aim of creating a compact group to cope with any pressure. This is done for the best possible management of the cases," Dumani said./CNA
