"Work has begun on the investigation of electoral crimes"/ Dumani:

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, touched upon a number of issues of interest during his report to the KLP on the annual work of the justice institution. On the eve of the elections, Dumani also emphasized the start of work on the investigation of electoral crimes.

Dumani said that SPAK has sent prosecutors and investigators to the country's regional centers, who are in daily communication with the prosecution and police.

Dumani said that there is also room for denunciations from the public, which are evaluated by a working group at SPAK.

"The investigation into electoral crime is also in implementation of domestic and foreign recommendations.

As an institution, we prepared the strategy at the end of January. It foresees taking several measures to investigate electoral crime.

The most important is the investigative group in the field. We have sent prosecutors and investigators to the regional centers of the country. They are in daily communication with the prosecutor's office and the police.

We are receiving information in real time.

Further, the continuation of the criminal situation may occur. There is also scope for denunciation by the public. They are evaluated by a working group at SPAK.

There is commitment from all prosecutors' offices and the CEC.

We have also signed documents that regulate cooperation. There are specific persons for the exchange of information. I am satisfied with this cooperation. We are engaged in this direction", said Dumani./CNA
