The Socialist Party's candidate for mayor of Tirana, Ogerta Manastirliu, held an open discussion with representatives of civil society, on the challenges and her Tirana 2030 plan, in function of the city's social development, emphasizing the role and contribution of civil society in all areas that affect this development.

" We can make steps forward in terms of developing the social dimension, in function of the social development of the city, with a focus on children, with a focus on youth, with a focus on people with disabilities, with a focus on women, girls, with a focus on employment, support, providing equal opportunities for every citizen, with a focus on communities, who need to be included and need to be integrated into the social life of the capital," said Manastirliu.

"I strongly believe that what we have done to date should be multiplied and a long-term dialogue should be made possible also in relation to the challenges related to Tirana, the capital of Albania, that is, our Tirana, about the challenges that Tirana faces today and how we can address them together to find solutions that directly support the citizens," said Manastirliu, among other things.

Afterwards, civil society representatives presented some of the issues they considered most urgent and provided opinions and suggestions for their fastest and fairest resolution, for the benefit of citizens./ CNA
