Balla-Gonzato Meeting/ "The Assembly, a key role in this phase of EU

The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, received the European Union Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, in the Parliament.

The focus of the meeting was the busy legislative agenda of this session, which foresees the review of a large number of draft laws, as well as the advancement of Electoral Reform and Territorial Reform.

Balla focused on the key role of the Parliament in this crucial phase of the European integration process.

"We discussed the advancement of the European integration process, the key role of the Parliament in this crucial phase of Albania's membership in the EU, with our clear objective of raising our red and black flag in the courtyard of Brussels by November 28, 2030," Balla is reported to have said.

The meeting between Balla and Gonzato comes at the start of the new parliamentary session, which began on January 19. /CNA
