"You used incendiary substances"/ Balla responds to Këlliç

The Assembly Bureau meeting reviewed the complaint of opposition MPs regarding their exclusion from parliamentary sessions.

During the debate with the opposition, the leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, stated that the expelled deputies used incendiary substances in the December 18 session.

"Have you been drawn to the attention of the European People's Party for your behavior in Parliament?"

Balla: Did you use incendiary substances during the December 18 session and if so, are you aware of the law:

Law No. 9126, dated 29.7.2003,

'On the civil use of explosives and pyrotechnics and fireworks in the Republic of Albania', on the use of pyrotechnics.

Do you know what the objective of this law is?

"The object of this law is to determine the procedures, rules and responsibilities of the state administration for the production, storage, use, control, destruction, transfer and method of trading, as well as the registration and tracking of explosives for civilian use," said Balla.

Regarding MP Belind Këlliçi's request that the meeting be open-door and in the presence of the media, Balla stated that these types of meetings have never been held in the presence of the media.

"I don't remember attending any meeting of the Assembly Bureau with a mental illness."

We came up with the idea that there would be reflection, when in fact there was no reflection. Regarding Mr. Këlliçi's request, the Bureau meetings are held behind closed doors. Anyone with parliamentary experience knows this", Balla said./ CNA
