Democratic Party MP Besart Xhaferri, invited to A2 CNN, spoke about Rama's invitation to be part of the "peace board".

Xhaferri said that the invitation was a copy-paste draft that was sent to many countries. Focusing on the payment of 1 billion euros for Gaza, Xhaferri said that this translates to 300 million per year.

This money should go into investments, said Xhaferri.

 

" The first thought I had when I read Edi Rama's status, I thought it was something very exclusive. The moment I read the invitation, I saw that it was a "copy paste" draft that has been sent to many countries and is definitely sent to the one who is at the head of state. What I thought is to wait and see what this format will be, who are the countries that will make it up, who are the countries that have been invited and of course I am very interested as a deputy of the Republic of Albania to know the financial costs that our country must pay, our budget to be part of this board. I can also be against being part of this board if it comes with high financial costs for the state budget. If it is 1 billion euros and it will be 300 million euros per year, those 300 million euros should go to investments in Albanian infrastructure so that we do not drown, so that we do not have a natural disaster that was not a natural disaster ", said Xhaferri./CNA
