Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to the SafeJournalists network regarding the statement made to Albanian Radio Television.
In the reaction made on the X platform, Rama writes that the essence of his statement was not understood.
The Prime Minister states that his statements towards RTSH have no connection between the existence of the Radio and Television and political approval.
" It is increasingly becoming an unfortunate feature of this new era, where the unwillingness to listen carefully to what others say leads to being confronted with statements like the attached one, which reflects a profound misunderstanding of my position regarding the Albanian Public Broadcaster."
I invite the authors of this erroneous statement to read or listen carefully to my words and make a sincere effort to understand their essence. My comments have absolutely nothing in common with “linking the funding or existence of RTSH with political approval”. Any such interpretation is simply incorrect and misinforming.
